A navy blue fine corduroy shirt in 100% cotton, with the warm, soft texture that autumn calls for.

As temperatures drop, poplin shirts make way for fabrics with more body, and fine corduroy is one of the favourites. Its narrow wale adds texture and a feeling of warmth that makes it the ideal everyday shirt for autumn and winter. With jeans and boots it creates a stylish weekend look; under a crew or V-neck sweater, collar showing, it adds an extra layer of warmth; and worn open over a T-shirt it works almost like a lightweight overshirt. Navy blue, dark and easy to pair, means it fits into any wardrobe.

Fine corduroy, also known as needlecord or baby cord, has a very narrow wale that makes it lighter and more flexible than traditional corduroy, and here it is made from 100% cotton, a natural, breathable fibre that feels great against the skin. The custom fit shapes the silhouette without feeling tight and allows freedom of movement. The Italian collar, with its spread points, looks good buttoned or open, and the long sleeves end in a single rounded cuff. It fastens with a front button placket, and the hem features a label applied on the side.
